Tina joined the Northern Virginia Law team in 2020 as legal assistant to Ashleigh Iszard. Tina began her career in the legal field in 2005 in a small domestic relations law firm. In 2012 she transitioned in the medical field. She was employed as a healthcare worker for 8 years in an emergency room. While working at the hospital she desired to further her education and began attending Shepherd University. She found working in the medical field very satisfying but could not deny that her passion for law. After earning her bachelor’s degree and careful consideration she decided to take a position in the State’s Attorney’s office in Hillsborough County then moved on to become a Deputy Clerk in the criminal division of Shenandoah County. Tina loved her work in the Court system but wanted to take a more personal approach with clients involved in legal proceedings. That is when she joined the Northern Virginia Law team.
Her experience working in the medical field has tailored her ability to assist Client’s with care and compassion, prioritize time sensitive issues with attention to detail, and calmly navigate high crisis situations. Her experience in family law and the court system has given her the knowledge to effectively assist attorneys with procedural processes and court requirements. She assists clients and counsel by providing regular updates, managing the discovery process, maintaining the case calendar and deadlines, and drafting court documents and correspondence. She is integral in the process of preparing clients and attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
In her spare time Tina enjoys being an artist, listening to podcasts, and riding motorcycles. She is a classic car enthusiast, book lover, music lover.
